Musical story in the jazz style “Opera? “- is unique project of the famous Italian accordionist and composer Renzo Ruggieri. This music combining classical, jazz, solo improvisations and recitation. The dialogues between classics and jazz, accordion and voice was put in one story, creating very special atmosphere and forming a new genre of jazz opera, attracting interest for music critics and fans of these styles!
The project «Opera?» was founded in 2008, consists of three episodes of the famous operas: Tosca, La Traviata, The Barber of Seville, where the three characters (Le Figaro, Tosca and Alfredo) from helping of the actor creates the new story with providing improvisations of relevant opera arias. Each from scenes ending with orchestral solos, where the atmosphere of the actor's story conveying jazz music.
